mealstay is an app that allows domestic and international travelers
to find locals to dine with, or have a coffee with, while on their travels.
This is not a dating app, and one of its defining features is that it
prohibits one-on-one meetings between a man and a woman.
Create unique memories that go beyond just sightseeing.

HOW TO USE

STEP1

Download app

Search for “mealstay” on the App Store/Google Play Store and install the app.
STEP2

Set your destination, the number of users, etc.

Select the number of users and the city you are visiting to search for an attendant.
STEP3

Contact Attendant

Check attendant rates and profiles on the attendant details page, then register with the attendant of your choice.
STEP4

Have a coffee or meal together

Meet the attendant at the location and time you have decided on and have a good time!

FEATURES

No one-on-one meetings between a man and a woman (PAT.7619701*)

The service does not allow for one-on-one meetings between a man and a woman.
This is not a dating app.
We welcome both women and those with romantic partners to actively use this service.
(An exception is made for one-on-one meetings with a management-approved attendant.)
* This system, which regulates matching based on gender, is patented.
Can be used by multiple people

The service can be used by up to four travelers and two locals.
Those who are uncomfortable using the service alone may participate with a friend or romantic partner.
No meetings in which the number of men exceeds the number of women

If one or more male travelers want to dine with one or more female locals, the app will make it so the number of men does not exceed the number of women. This is to ensure that women feel safe using the service.
Supports multiple languages and currencies

The service is meant to have both domestic and international users and thus supports multiple languages, including English, and multiple currencies.
(Please check the settings in the app for supported languages and currencies.)
Chat feature

The chat feature allows travelers and attendants to talk to one another.
Use this feature to decide on the details of the meeting, such as the meeting place/time, dining budget/preferences, and the specific restaurant you will meet at.
This also means there is no need to give your email address or social media contacts to the other party.
It also provides peace of mind, as you know you will be able to talk to each other in real-time around the time of the actual meeting.
